A Shia home in Almada, open to everyone.

For seven years Associação Lady Fatemah (s.a.) has served the Shia community in Portugal: prayers and gatherings, the commemoration of Ashura, a madrasa for children, and a hand for anyone in need.

Our name

Named after Lady Fatemah (s.a.)

Lady Fatemah al-Zahra (s.a.) is the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.a.), the wife of Imam Ali (a.s.) and the mother of Imam al-Hasan (a.s.) and Imam al-Husayn (a.s.). Through her runs the line of the Imams.
